Ava was selected to perform at the 2023 Monterey Jazz Festival as the vocalist for the Next Generation Jazz Orchestra (NGJO). Each year the festival picks 20 of the most accomplished high school jazz musicians from across the country to form this big band. The festival is Sep 22-24 and the NGJO performs on the Jimmy Lyons Stage Sep 24 at 12:30 pm. For more information about the festival, click here
